Supports American Heart Walk

In partnership with the American Heart Association, South Bay Hospital contributes more than $22,000.

The Officers of South Bay Hospital personally take part in the Leadership of this event, in terms of leading the fund-raising efforts and participating in the event itself. The hospital devoted approximately 500 volunteer hours to make the event successful. In addition, six teams of hospital employees totaling 106, worked together raising money to help fight heart disease and stroke. These diseases are the number one and number three killers of Americans each year. South Bay Hospital recognizes the needs of the community it serves. Participating in the American Heart Walk is one positive effort to give back to the community.
